‘There Is Only One Way To Stop Putin’

Freezing the war may not work.

Only one security guarantee can stop the aggressor state Russia. The only way Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will stop is if he is confronted with a more powerful military force.

This was stated by retired British general and former Deputy Supreme Allied Commander of NATO in Europe Richard Shirreff in an interview with The Telegraph.

“The only way Putin will stop is if he is confronted with a military force that is superior. But that means NATO countries will have to admit that they are going to war against Russia. Are they really prepared to send their soldiers into that situation? I just don't see the political will to do that,” Shirreff said.

According to the British general, the so-called “JD Vance peace plan” and the signals we are hearing from Washington indicate that American soldiers will not set foot on Ukrainian soil.

“For me, the conclusion is that even if Trump tries to make an agreement that would provide for a “freeze” of the conflict, I do not think that it will actually “freeze” it. I think it will continue. There may be a pause or something like that. But the war will continue,” the British general concluded.
