Panic In Russian State Duma Over Largest Drone Attack On Moscow

Putin was called upon to urgently strike Ukraine with the Oreshnik missile.

Russia needs to strike Ukraine with the Oreshnik missile in response to the largest attack by Ukrainian drones since the beginning of the war, said Andrei Kartapolov, head of the State Duma Defense Committee.

“The decision is up to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, but I think it would not be superfluous [to launch the Oreshnik missile], better yet, more than one,” the deputy said.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 337 Ukrainian drones were shot down over Russian territory on the night of March 11. In particular, air defense forces destroyed 91 drones over the Moscow Region. As a result of the attack, two people were killed and 14 were injured in the region, said Andrei Vorobyov, governor of the Moscow Region.
