Drones can fly en masse over the capital of the Russian Federation constantly.
The largest drone attack on the Moscow region of the Russian Federation (RF) since the beginning of the full-scale war was a signal to dictator Vladimir Putin.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with a reference to the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation Andriy Kovalenko.
“This is an additional signal to Putin that he should also be interested in a ceasefire from the air. Not only oil refineries, drones can fly en masse over Moscow, constantly,” Kovalenko said.
According to him, Russia has built a layered air defense (AD) around Moscow to keep the capital safe, even at the cost of oil refineries. However, retaliatory attacks still create panic among Russians.
Massive drone attack on Moscow
On the night of March 11, Moscow complained of an attack by unknown unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which resulted in destruction and casualties. Due to the shelling, the Russians introduced a “carpet” regime at all capital airports.
At first, the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrei Vorobyov announced one dead and three injured, however, later the number of wounded increased to 20.
It is worth adding separately that the military airfield in “Dyagilevo” in the Ryazan Region of Russia was also under attack.
